Vizag MP requests SpiceJet to run cargo flights

VISAKHAPATNAM: The Vizag Lok Sabha member MVV Satyanarayana requested the Spice Jet airlines to run dedicated cargo flights from Visakhapatnam and also urged it to take a decision on overnight parking of civilian flights at the airport for the convenience of the passengers.
The Vizag MP, who is also the chairman of the airport advisory committee of Vizag, wrote a letter to the CEO of Spice Jet airlines and requested him to utilize the newly developed parking bays at Vizag airport to facilitate late night and early morning flights from the port city.
He said that Vizag is the financial capital of AP and also an educational and industrial hub. “We request your airlines to be part of the robust development of Vizag by facilitating night parking of your flights for improvement in services,” the MP said.
