Vistara slashes fares to as low as Rs 949-all inclusive

Full service carrier Vistara has slashed fares to as much as Rs 949 (all inclusive) for travel in September. Others are expected to follow.

The airline is selling tickets at Rs 949 on the Jammu-Srinagar sector. Others discounts are available on similar short haul routes. A Goa-Mumbai flight can be booked for as low as Rs 1,099, Delhi-Lucknow for Rs 1,399 and Guwahati-Bagdogra for Rs 1,999.

Lower fares are available on some long-haul sectors too. Delhi-Bengaluru can be booked for Rs 2,399 and a ticket from Delhi to Mumbai, the busiest route in the country, can be booked for Rs 2,299.

Vistara are open till September 10, for travel between Sept 12 and Sept 30. Airlines usually sell a miniscule chunk at these rates.
