UPP to make highways safe for travellers
From now onwards, people travelling on the highways and expressways in Uttar Pradesh will have a new sense of safety, security and cooperation as UP Police personnel will be providing round-the-clock assistance and security to them.
The Yogi Adityanath government has decided to deploy UP 112 cops on the state highways and expressways to ensure security and cooperation to people. Besides security and assistance, the cops of 112 will also be giving information related to routes, refreshments stalls, hotels, hospitals and other essential facilities.
“The decision will also serve as a life saver for travellers who get injured in road accidents. The 112 cops will not only reach the spot in a blink but also help in taking the injured to the nearest hospital.
