Travelling on Vande Bharat executive class to cost Rs 2,265 from Bengaluru to Dharwad

BENGALURU: Travelling in the executive class of Vande Bharat (VB) Express train will cost Rs 2,265 from Bengaluru to Dharwad and Rs 1,165 in AC chair car. On the return direction, Rs 2,460 will be charged for executive class and Rs 1,330 in AC chair car.

The South Western Railway (SWR) is all set to operate the first interstate VB train of Karnataka and the inaugural train will be flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday along with four other Vande Bharatt Express trains in other parts of the country, at Rani Kamalapati railway station in Bhopal. At Dharwad station, governor Thaawarchand Gehlot and Union minister Pralhad Joshi will participate in the inaugural event.
