Thiruvananthapuram Airport achieves record passenger movement in December post-COVID, plans infra upgrade for growing demand

The Thiruvananthapuram International airport recorded its highest number of passenger movement in a month after COVID-19 in December last year at over 4 lakh.

During the specified timeframe, 2.42 lakh individuals were domestic travelers, and 1.72 lakh were international passengers out of a total of 4.14 lakh passengers, as stated by airport authorities. Comparing this period to the corresponding timeframe in 2022, there was a notable 26% rise in passenger volume, according to the authorities.
