Bengaluru International Airport’s traffic soars, 35.3% surge in passenger footfall recorded in 2023

Kempegowda International Airport, also known as the Bengaluru International Airport, witnessed a substantial surge in passenger footfall in 2023, reaching 37.2 million, indicating a remarkable 35.3% increase from the previous year, as reported by airport authorities on Friday (January 12).

Out of the total passenger count, 32.7 million were domestic travelers, while 4.5 million were international passengers. The airport achieved a milestone on April 29, 2023, recording the highest single-day passenger traffic of 116,688.
