These areas of Trichy to face power shutdown on Saturday

TRICHY: Trichy urban division of Tangedco has announced that power supply will be suspended in parts of the city on Saturday for relocating electric poles to facilitate widening of the Trichy-Dindigul National Highway.

Officials said the existing poles on the carriageway in Ponnagar and Karumandapam would be shifted to the roadside.

Areas in the Ponnagar section including Karumandapam Main Road, Amudham Hotel, Madhakoil and Kalyanasundaram Nagar will face power shutdown between 10am and 4pm on Saturday (July 15).
