Telugu Desam embezzled Rs 22,268 cr through power purchase agreements: Nedcap chief
Visakhapatnam: The Telugu Desam embezzled Rs 22,868 crore through power purchase agreements (PPAs) during its five years in government, alleged K.K. Raju, chairman of the Non-Conventional Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh (Nedcap).
Talking to reporters in Visakhapatnam on Tuesday, Raju said an investigation into this scam would be initiated against the Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and his associates. The TD government had paid Rs 60,000 through PPAs, he alleged.
