Steer clear of fraudulent job offers in Jet-II: Jet-I RP to employees
NEW DELHI: Under revival for a likely restart, Jet Airways has warned its erstwhile employees to be wary of fraudulent job offers being made — with appliance often asked to pay some money — as the airline has not started any recruitment drive as yet.
Ashish Chhawchharia, the airline’s resolution professional (RP), has written a mail to employees of Jet-I informing them that “at this stage, neither Jet Airways nor the consortium have appointed any agent/agency/individuals to make/issue offers of employment on its behalf.”
“Anyone dealing with such agents/agencies/individuals, including employment portals, will be doing so at their own risk and Jet Airways, the consortium and my team shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage suffered directly or indirectly as a result of such dealings,” Chhawchharia’s mail says.
