‘Ensuring 10 hrs power supply in Agri sector Govt’s priority’

Ensuring 10 hours power supply in the agriculture sector during the Rabi season is the priority of the State Government.

Power supply should be ensured to the farmers at the right voltage and that the places where the distribution transformers are damaged repeatedly, by testing technical improvements to prevent distribution transformers from failing and power of agricultural consumers supply should not be interrupted, said Principal Secretary Energy Sanjay Dubey during reviews of power supply during Rabi season in the state.

Principal Secretary Energy Sanjay Dubey directed officials from Executive Engineer level to Regional Chief Engineer and higher management of the company to ensure field visits and analyze technical and other problems related to power supply at field level and overcome it.
