South Eastern Coalfields despatches 100 MT coal in record time
State-owned SECL on Sunday said it has despatched 100 million tonnes of coal in record time till October 28 this fiscal. About 80 per cent of the despatch supply has been made to the power sector, South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) said in a statement.
“SECL has achieved 100 million tonnes (MT) of coal dispatch for FY23-24. This is the fastest 100 MT coal dispatch achieved by the company since its inception,” the statement added.
