Share price of GAIL falls as Sensex gains 86.06 points
Share price of GAIL NSE -0.11 % (India) Ltd. dropped 0.71 per cent to Rs 133.4 at 01:35PM (IST) in Thursday’s trade. The scrip hit a high of Rs 134.25 and low of Rs 130.5 so far during the session. The stock had closed at Rs 134.35 in the previous session.
The counter had a total traded volume of 01:35PM shares so far with a turnover of Rs 7.32 crore on BSE. The stock traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 7.11 and a price-to-book ratio of 0.7.
A higher price-to-earnings ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price for per rupee earnings given by the stock because of better future growth expectations.
