‘Run passenger train to Tulashikshetra’
Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal wrote a letter on August 20 to Railways Minister Aswini Vaishnaw for running a passenger train in Haridashpur-Paradip rail line to connect Kendrapada with rest part of the country as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahostav.
Notably, some locals under the aegis of Kendrapada Zilla Vikash Parishad led by its vice chairman Ambika Prasad Das had brought to the notice of the Governor by submitting a memorandum the need to run a passenger train to Shree Tulashikshetra of Kendrapada, while Dr Lal on August 10 had visited Kendrapada to attend some programmes, including interaction with Women Self Help Group members.
