Repair Manali road or face the music: DC to highway authority

Rugved Thakur, DC, has asked the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to fill up potholes on the Chandigarh-Manali highway immediately or get ready to face action.

The tough stance of the DC against the NHAI is in response to the poor condition of the road at many places. As a result, it is causing road fatalities, which is a major concern for the district administration and the government.
