Anger over tardy road repair in Dagshai

Resentment prevails among residents of Dagshai cantonment over the slack approach of the authorities towards the repair and maintenance of roads.

A sizeable portion of the Dagshai-Kumarhatti road has not only caved in, but also developed potholes, making commute difficult.
Two-wheeler riders are at a greater risk as potholes can lead to a fatal mishap. The four-laning work has disturbed the alignment of the Dosarkha-Dagshai road and the road surface has become uneven as it is not metalled properly. “Vehicles keep breaking down on the stretch. It is appalling that the authorities have failed to repair the roads,” said Dinesh Pundir, a commuter.
