In a significant move towards bolstering rail infrastructure in Assam, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma held a crucial meeting with Union Minister for Railways, Ashwini Vaishnaw, at Rail Bhawan on Monday (December 11).

The discussions centered on devising a comprehensive roadmap to enhance and modernise the rail network in the northeastern state. In the meeting, Assam CM also discussed ways to address key challenges and harness opportunities for growth to elevate the rail infrastructure and promote economic development in the hill state.
