Prove 24×7 power claim, says Revanth
HYDERABAD: Telangana Congress president A Revanth Reddy on Saturday challenged the ruling BRS to hold gram sabhas at all the 3500 electricity sub-stations and present the logbooks. He said that Congress will not seek votes in villages if it is proved that the government is providing 24×7 uninterrupted power supply, if not the ruling party should not ask votes in those villages.
Referring to the challenge thrown by the ruling BRS leaders for a referendum on free electricity to the agriculture sector, Revanth, while accepting the challenge, said all the important leaders of the Congress will attend gram sabhas in all the 119 assembly constituencies and see the response of villagers and farmers on 24×7 uninterrupted free power supply.
