Power shutdown in Phagwara today
The electricity supply will not be available in several localities of Phagwara from 11 am to 6 pm on Thursday. The supply will remain suspended due to urgent maintenance and repairing work on power lines in Satnampura, New Satnampura, Adarsh Nagar, Sugar Mill Colony, Teacher Colony, Gaba Colony, Mansa Devi Nagar, New Mansa Devi Nagar, Doctors Colony, Dhyan Singh Colony, Raja Garden, Mehta Colony, Green Land Colony, Arora Colony , Kartar Estate and Hadiabad Bazar Area among others.
Phagwara XEN Rajinder Singh said shifting of power lines to another location due to felling of trees by the Forest Department had forced to shut off supply in several localities.
