Over 50% of national highways built, expanded since 2014

Construction and expansion, including strengthening, of national highways, touched 77,400km between April 2014 and October 2022, according to latest government data. This is more than half of the length of the country’s total NH network.

Currently, India’s NH network span measures around 1.5lakh km, reports Dipak Dash.
