No-fly zone near Taj West End for G-20 meet

Bengaluru: In the backdrop of the three-day G-20 Space Economy Leaders’ meeting beginning on Wednesday, Bengaluru police declared a 1km radius of Taj West End hotel on Race Course Road as a temporary ‘no-fly zone’, thus restricting operation of all kinds of flying objects, drones in particular.

“As a part of safety and security of VVIPs and foreign delegates, I consider it is necessary to declare the area a temporary no-fly zone of drones, UAVs, glider aircraft, etc,” top cop B Dayananda said.
