New substation, but Baltana powerless
Six days after Power Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO launched a 66-kV substation in Baltana, Zirakpur residents continue to face power cuts, as long as five hours, on a daily basis.
Irate residents said the power supply had always been erratic but even on the day of the substation launch, Baltana faced cuts around 6 pm.
