Harrowing time for road users

Road users in Sector 127 near Shivalik Enclave on the Kharar-Landran road here had a harrowing time after a waterlogged pit was filled with earth, turning it into a slushy trap.

Scores of two-wheelers fell on the road or had a lucky escape manoeuvring the slippery obstacle on the main road. Local residents said road users fall near this pit every day, but the situation worsened today after workers filled it with earth. After the rain, the pit turned slushy.
