Navi Mumbai’s airport by 2024, says Ajit Pawar

NAVI MUMBAI: In what seems a fresh deadline for Navi Mumbai international airport, deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar told top Cidco officials at a meeting at its Belapur headquarters on Thursday to expedite work and make it operational by 2024.

Pawar met officials along with NCP functionaries from Navi Mumbai to discuss long-pending issues of project-affected people, besides delays in projects. On water problems, Pawar said there was an urgent need for construction of a new dam.
