On October 28, 2010, NHAI awarded contract of Srinagar-Banihal Highway project in Jammu and Kashmir to Srinagar-Banihal Expressway Ltd (SBEL), a consortium of Ramky Infrastructure Ltd (76 pc) and Jiangsu Provincial Transportation Engineering Group Co Ltd (JPTEG), a Chinese company with 26 pc.
