Mutant fears: Australia suspends all India flights till May 15

NEW DELHI: Australia has temporarily suspended all direct flights from India till May 15, to prevent the fast-spreading Coronavirus mutant from reaching its shores. The decision, announced by Prime Minister Scott Morrison, will see both repatriation flights planned by Australia and passenger flights being stopped till mid-May for now. Till when the suspension stays will depends on the Covid situation in India.
