Mumbai Metro 2A & 7 lines save time, but lack last mile connectivity

MUMBAI: Commuters and activists on Thursday pointed out that while the Metro 2A and 7 lines may be running faster and saving time, but due to the lack of last mile connectivity at some of the destination stations, passengers are left stranded.

While a few stations have autorickshaws available as soon as you climb down from the elevated Metro station, the driver overcharges passengers and even share autorickshaws fix their own rates, passengers alleged, adding that BEST service for feeder connectivity is also ‘inadequate’.
