Mumbai: Brace for megablocks on Central Railway suburban today; no block on Western Railway
MUMBAI: Central Railway’s Mumbai Division will operate a megablock on its suburban network on Sunday to carry out essential engineering and maintenance work. Western Railway, however, will not have a day block on its suburban routes.
On the CR Main Line, a block will be in place on the slow lines between CSMT Mumbai and Vidyavihar from 10.55am to 3.55pm. Up slow services leaving Ghatkopar between 10.19am and 3.52pm will be diverted to the Up fast line between Vidyavihar and CSMT, halting at Kurla, Sion, Matunga, Dadar, Parel and Byculla.
