Cyclone Ditwah: IndiGo cancels all ATR flights from Chennai on Saturday

CHENNAI: IndiGo has cancelled its entire schedule of ATR flight services to and from Chennai on Saturday as a precautionary measure ahead of Cyclone Ditwah, which is expected to bring strong winds and heavy rain to the region. The move disrupted short-haul regional connectivity across Tamil Nadu, with a total of 36 ATR flights withdrawn from operation for the day.

The cancellations affected all of IndiGo’s Chennai-linked ATR routes, including 10 flights to and from Trichy, nine services connecting Madurai, seven flights on the Tuticorin sector.
