Mumbai airport gets record-breaking June passenger traffic, reaches 4.2 million
Mumbai airport handled about 4. 2 million passengers in June, its highest-ever volume of flyers handled that month. The previous high was recorded in June 2018.
The new record for June passenger traffic comes after a gap of five years. But on the air traffic metric, the June 2023 number hasn’t breached the pre-Covid June mark.
