Min of Renewable Energy Dept Hardeep Singh assumes office

Minister of New and Renewable Energy Department, Hardeep Singh Dang assumed office in the State Mantralaya on Tuesday.

After assuming office, a meeting was held by the Minister with the officials of the Department of New and Renewable Energy, in which information was received about the schemes of the Department.

Subsequently, it was directed by him that there is a need to work in this area at a greater pace. He instructed to develop major schemes of renewable energy in his constituency Suwasra which could benefit the general public as a first model.

Under these schemes, under the Chief Minister Solar Pump Scheme, farmers in the area should be motivated to install solar pumps for maximum irrigation by providing information about the scheme.
