J&K LG clears Rs 5,300 crore Ratle Hydroelectric Project
SRINAGAR: J&K Administrative Council headed by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday approved the proposal for development of the 850MW Ratle Hydroelectric Project in joint venture between National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) and JK Power Development Corporation (JKPDC).
The Ratle Hydroelectric Plant will be a run-of-the-river hydroelectric power station on the Chenab River, downstream of the village near Drabshalla in Kishtwar district of the Union Territory of J&K.
