Jalna-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express train suffers brake glitch, halts for 30 minutes near Mumbai – Here’s what happened

A Vande Bharat Express train traveling from Jalna in Maharashtra to Mumbai encountered a braking system glitch on Tuesday (January 16) morning, leading to a delay of approximately 30 minutes, as confirmed by officials.

The train came to a halt at Asangaon station, located about 75 km from Jalna, in the neighboring Thane district. Fortunately, the technical issue was swiftly addressed and the journey resumed at 11:25 am.

According to a Central Railway official, the braking system glitch was identified around 11 am. The train was able to resume its journey to Mumbai once the technical problem was resolved.
