IRCTC red flags timing clash of Mumbai-Ahmedabad Tejas Express with new Vande Bharat train

The IRCTC has raised concerns about possible time clash between the already-running Mumbai-Ahmedabad Tejas Express and the soon to be launched Vande Bharat Express. It said that the two premium train at the same time may defeat “the purpose of introduction of the Tejas Express” which is the Railways’ premium corporate train.

IRCTC has reportedly sent two letters in August and September regarding its concerns.
