International flights from Raja Bhoj Airport to commence in next two months

International flights will start from Bhopal’s Raja Bhoj Airport in two months. According to officials, immigration and customs clearance is expected in this period. With this, airlines will announce international flights.

On August 22, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had announced to make Bhopal’s Raja Bhoj Airport an international airport. After this, the file for the basic resources, facilities and their approval required to make Bhopal airport international level is going on fast. This is the reason international flights are expected to start operating from Bhopal soon.

Officials of the Airport Authority of India say in muted voices that the file related to the permission of the Immigration and Customs Department of Bhopal Airport is stuck for the last four years.
