Illegal coal transport racket busted in J’suguda

The Lakhanpur police busted an illegal coal transportation racket and arrested six persons, including a security personnel of MCL’s Lakhanpur Coalfields.

According to the information provided, on December 8, trucks number OR23B 8634 and OR 09Q9221 left the Lakhanpur coal mines to go to their destination with necessary documents but did not reach the destinations and sold the coal to a brick kiln owner.

The next day, these trucks in connivance with the MCL’s security personnel managed to get the coal load on the December 9 evening. The papers which were made on the December 8 were also used the following day.

After getting information from the sources, the police rushed to spot and arrested both the drivers with their trucks.
