Hanspal flyover work to begin soon

Construction work of a flyover at Hanspal here would begin soon as the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has floated a tender in this regard.

The 5.5 km-long flyover would be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 32 crore on the Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) mode, the tender notice said.

While the completion period has been fixed at 18 months, the maintenance period is 60 months, the notice added.

Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi said, “A longstanding demand of local residents is finally being met. A committee of residents has been formed to monitor timely completion of the project.”
