Five people, including three children, were injured after the wall of a house collapsed following a LPG cylinder blast in west Delhi’s Hari Nagar. The injured include a man, woman and three children police said adding that all of them ave been discharged after treatment.
According to a senior Delhi Fire Service (DFS) official, a call about the LPG cylinder blast was received around 4.54 Am following which three fire tenders were rushed to the spot. “All the five people who sustained injuries were rescued and taken to hospital,” he said.
“Police received a police control room (PCR) call at Hari Nagar Police Station at 4.56 am about a gas cylinder blast causing fire and collapse of building after which an Emergency Response Vehicle (ERV) was dispatched for the spot,” said Deepak Purohit, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), West district.
