Energy Minister misleading people on EPF scam: Lallu
Undeterred by the defamation notice served on him by Shrikant Sharma, Congress state president Ajay Kumar Lallu accused the Uttar Pradesh Energy Minister of trying to mislead the people to come out clear in the Rs 2,600-crore EPF scam.
Lallu said Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s claim of ‘zero tolerance’ towards corruption would remain an eye-wash until he immediately sacked Sharma and got a case registered against him as the entire scam took place during Sharma’s tenure.
The Congress leader also demanded that the state government to issue a White Paper on the investments made by all government departments of GPF and EPF of the state employees.
Lallu, while talking to media persons here on Friday shot seven questions to the state government seeking clarification on the financial scam in the UP Power Corporation Limited.
