Delhi: PWD to audit two more flyovers at Zakhira and Shadipur
NEW DELHI: The public works department (PWD) will conduct a safety audit of two more flyovers at Zakhira and Shadipur to decide on carrying out repair work.
The Delhi government is already fixing six flyovers, including those at Nangloi, Hanuman Setu and Mayapuri where extension joint replacement work has been undertaken. The overall project was approved in April.
According to the tender, the contractor will conduct a load test to ascertain the safety of a flyover and submit a proposal on the required strengthening measures and the estimated cost. The last date for submitting the tender is August 18.
