Delhi Metro Rail Corporation kicks off exhibition at Rajiv Chowk station to show horrors of Partition

NEW DELHI: Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Wednesday launched an exhibition on ‘Partition Horrors Remembrance Day’ at Rajiv Chowk Metro station.

“The Partition Horrors Remembrance Day has been envisaged to bring to light the agony, suffering and pain of millions of people who were the sufferers of Partition,” said Anuj Dayal , principal executive director (corporate communications), DMRC.

“It is to remind the country of the largest displacement of human population in the last century, which also claimed the lives of a large number of people,” he said.

The exhibition, which will be open to visitors till August 14, was inaugurated by DMRC’s managing director Vikas Kumar.
