Delhi explores possibility of electric trucks to cut pollution
NEW DELHI: The Delhi transport department has commissioned a feasibility study for bringing electric trucks on the capital’s roads to reduce pollution, minister Kailash Gahlot has said.
The department wants to know how electric trucks can be used as government vehicles. The study will be conducted by the International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT), which will examine what steps need to be taken to introduce such trucks on Delhi’s roads.
