CISF raids illegal mining spot,seizes trucks and illegally mined coal
A team of CISF personnel on Monday raided closed mines of new Akashkanati mines of the BCCL and seized three trucks besides coal packed in over 5000 gunibags ready for transportation.
Today’s action is seen as an outcome of the directive of deputy commissioner Sandeep Singh to the BCCL authorities and CISF to initiate action against illegal mining and in possible file cases against those involved in such illegal activities. The directive was given during a joint meeting of three held last week on this issue.
It’s worth mentioning that Dhanbad SDM has also conducted raids at the same location about a week ago but soon after he left the work had begun.
