Chhattisgarh to get Vande Bharat Express from Dec 11

Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs Renuka Singh on Friday said Chhattisgarh will get the services of Vande Bharat Express from December 11.

The South East Central Railway (SECR) will operate the train between Nagpur and Bilaspur. It will have three stoppages: Raipur, Durg and Gondia. It will run six days a week except on Saturday, she said.

The Minister said that in the next three years, 400 Vande Bharat trains will be made operational.

The Nagpur-Bilaspur Vande Bharat Express will leave Bilaspur at 6.45 am and reach Nagpur at 12.15 pm. The return journey will start at 2.05 pm and reach Bilaspur at 7.35 pm.
