CCCI demands better facilities for air travellers
The Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries (CCCI) has sought more and better facilities for passengers at the Swami Vivekananda Airport here and development of other airports in the state.
CCCI President Amar Parwani led a delegation and handed over a representation of demands to Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia here on Saturday.
The delegation sought flights from Raipur to Jaipur, Surat, Jodhpur, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Amritsar and Guna.
The establishment of a cargo hub, declaration of the Swami Vivekananda Airport as an international airport, free parking of aircraft at night, placing aircraft maintenance team permanently at Raipur and early morning flights to Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and other places.
