Cancel TPCL LoI, allow Cesu to function, CM urged

The Odisha Rajya Bidyut Shramika Karmachari Engineers Ekata Manch has strongly opposed the Tata Power Company Limited (TPCL) review petition to OERC’s vesting order and urged the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to cancel the letter of intent (LoI) of TPCL and allow Cesu function as before.

“It is surprising that the TPCL, which has 51% share in the TPCODL, has filed a review petition within just 20 days of taking over the assets and license of the Cesu. While vesting order in binding on all parties of the TPCODL, the Mancha sees the TPCL’s move as to gain absolute control over TPCODL and license to loot the public assets, consumers and employees,” alleged the Manch in a letter to the CM.
