BMC orders removal of pothole complaint banners in Bandra

MUMBAI: Following a report by TOI titled ‘Pothole? Call up contractor, says BMC’ on Saturday, about banners placed along the streets at Bandra, Khar and Santacruz in BMC’s H west ward informed people that complaints regarding bad roads at potholes should be directed to the concerned contractor–Nagarjuna Construction Company Limited, the BMC higher authorities has directed the ward to have the posters removed.

Bandra St Martins Road resident Mani Patel said, “On Saturday morning, I tried contacting the number however the person who picked the call said that he was not aware of how his number was placed on the banner and he was one of the many employees working for the company.”
