Bengaluru: Power cuts hit work from home, online classes
BENGALURU: While Bengalureans have got comfortable with work from home (WFH) and online classes arrangements, frequent power cuts have been disrupting schedules of residents of Sahakarnagar in north Bengaluru.
Satyen Kamat, a resident of Defence Colony in Sahakarnagar said, “We have been facing this issue for over three months now. Power goes off at 10am and comes back only by 7pm. The UPS back-up doesn’t last that long.”
Bescom’s inconsistency is derailing the schedule of kids and adults as most meetings, classes and exams are slotted during the first half of the day.
It’s not just students alone who are finding it difficult; even teachers in the locality are battling the same issue.
