Aramco vows correct crude grade and volumes this month, says RIL

MUMBAI: Reliance IndustriesNSE 0.48 % has said that Saudi Aramco met its commitment of crude oil supplies by supplying alternative grade of crude oil but has assured that it will supply the grade and volume required by the Indian conglomerate in October.

Saudi Aramco’s two major units that process primarily light crude were attacked by drones on September 14, that curtailed its supply by about 5.7 million barrels per day, which is more than half of its production.

RIL said that Saudi Aramco managed to meet the scheduled supply, albeit with a heavier grade of crude oil.
