APTEL allows Adani Power arm to charge higher coal cost from Raj discoms
NEW DELHI: Adani PowerNSE -0.08 % on Tuesday said electricity tribunal APTEL has allowed its subsidiary Adani Power Rajasthan to charge a higher cost of coal regarding a 1,200-MW power supply agreement with distribution companies of Rajasthan.
The tribunal has allowed the compensation due to the shortage of domestic coal, the company said in a regulatory filing.
