Air passenger grows 25.8% during July
SpiceJet today said that it has registered record highest Passenger Load Factor (PLF) during the month of July, which saw a 25.8% growth in air passengers carried during the month, according to a data compiled by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
SpiceJet also recorded the second best On-Time Performance (OTP) during the month that stood at 79.2%. Vistara topped the list by flying 80.3% of its flights in time. IndiGo was third best during the month by flying 76.*% of its flights on time.
The airline again topped the Passenger Load Factor (PLF) chart registering 92% for the same period, which it continues to report for 15 consecutive months. SpiceJet was closely followed by GoAir that flew its flights with over 90% of its flights full.
IndiGo continues to be the largest domestic carrier in the country by flying 39.8% passengers during the month, which is the highest by the airline this year.
